#IHadADream I was a reporter for the most prominent paper in America. I had previously covered #Superman until he disappeared, but now he’s back. (sort of the plot to #SupermanReturns ) I faced a dilemma. Should I report about Superman as if people will remember him or do I need to re-introduce him to the public . . . who were we talking about again? #StevenKing and some fellow authors had a basketball team. They were playing at the local highschool in their undies. Not for charity or anything because I asked the five of them who they were playing for and they answered: “themselves”

#IHadADream Gage Bowl was converted into office space in the 80’s. PEC moved into it in 1997, and then in 2014 remodeled the front lobby, gearing up for the 50^th anniversary. (The arcade games were a nice touch). It also doubled as a Catholic Church where you could buy movie theater snacks like Junior Mints and Milk Duds, of course Catholics know that’s a no-no. Everyone was there for the baptism of my kid, including old school teachers, high school acquaintances, old coworkers, etc.  Someone brought a brick of Velveeta (someone knows the key to a man’s heart).

#IHadADream I fell asleep in the recliner and had a dream that I was attending a graduation party. All of the sudden a few dead people showed up, imagine the girl from The Ring or any character from 6^th Sense (spoiler alert). The dead people wore cap and gown so they appeared normal out of the corner of one’s eye. Then all the super heroes from kick-ass appeared (as dead people of course). I realized it was a scary dream and I started freaking out, caught between two worlds, trying to escape the dead-people party but stuck half-awake, paralyzed on the recliner. Finally I was able to kick the end table and fully return to the safety of the recliner. The end table was overturned in the middle of the living room floor. I sat in the recliner, gasping for air when slowly a face slid into view next to mine, inches away. So close I could feel the musty, sulfury breath of the face . . . the face of a dead person. I screamed and awoke again, this time back in the real world (or so I think).

#SafetyNotGuaranteed was great. Fist raise at the end was a classic end of the movie #lol ranking up there with the beer can throw in Whole Nine.

#Predestination had my head exploding twice. #EthanHawk was his usual 7.5 out of 10. And look out for #SarahSnook

#Avengers2 was no better than I’d thought it’d be.

#Nightcrawler was good. Speaking of consistent, #JakeGyllenhunk was his usual 8.5 out of 10. But it was no #Prisoners

Every few years it suddenly hits me. The phrase “Magic Nose Goblins” and just how funny it is.

#IHadADream Noura had a dream that William Shatner came to do a comedy show and I went backstage during intermission because he and I are friends and I got to stay there and play with this little black girl who he calls his granddaughter, but she told me that she was his granddaughters friend and one day he said he liked her more. Now he doesn't speak to his real granddot. Well then after the show, he gave me $37,000 to help pay off my student loans and to come to Kenya with him and compete in some international swimming meet. But neither of us know how to swim, so the money would also cover training. I woke up at the point where we were training in Kenya, and they were using chocolate chips as forms of training motivation. My trainer was using Andes Mints chocolate chips.

Two years ago, I was at watch party during the infamous leg break. I remarked that all the best coaches are Italian, Rick Patina, John Calamari, etc. Some jerk in the back row said, “what about shishefski?” He’s, of course the rear exception. Go Cats (so I can win the pool).

I showed #Interstellar to Lara last night. In the first 30 minutes, she correctly guessed the three major plot twists.

#FlashbackTo2012 I showed #DarkKnight Part 2 to Lara last night. In the first 30 minutes, she makes the following predictions:  Mol from Inception is the real bad guy, not Bane.  Joseph Gorgeous Levitt is Robin.  And Alfred will finally see Bruce at the Café at the end of the movie.  True story . . . except she referred to Robin as Joseph Gordon-Levitt.  pssh

Tyler had a dream that he was in a zombe apocalypse, in a big shopping mall being chased by zombies. He was stuck in a safe and secure department store but he had to leave to get food. But the outside of his store was loaded with zombies, so he moved with haste. He finally found another store that had food, but it was guarded by his old boss from Wichita, armed with a gun. His old boss would not let him in, so he ran some more, but his old boss shot him in the back of the head (for sport, I suppose), then he fell to the ground, still alive but that’s when he felt the second bullet strike his head while he was on the ground (thanks Keven). So Tyler died and went to heaven, where he started his own engineering firm and lived a very happy existence. It was heaven, after all. #IHadADream
