#whatifitoldyou there was a movie starring Christian Slater, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Christopher Walken, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Gandolfini. Written by Quentin Tarantino and Directed by the late Tony Scott (you know the guy who directed Top Gun, Last Boy Scout, Crimson Tide, Enemy of the State, Man on Fire (and at least three subsequent Denzel Washington Movies. Oh yeah, and the movie ends in a big 3-party shootout, bullets flying in all directions. #trueromance

#IHadADream I went to work in the Wichita office of the company, which sucked because it doubled as an Applebee’s, so you always had to do your work with annoying renditions of happy birthday distracting you all the time. I went to Leedog’s house on N. 35^th Terr., he converted his bathtub-sized goldfish pond into a 5-acre pond . . . dummy. He also showed me an old abandoned church building on his property, deep in the woods that was haunted. He left me locked in there in the dark . . . #ClassicLeedog. Then an Applebee’s customer’s seeing-eye-dog ate my KFC . . . freakin’ dog!

#IHadADream My boss in Topeka gave me the news that I’ve been promoted to Detective (but in Lawrence).  He said he had asked for me to be promoted in Topeka, but he still hadn’t heard.  I told him I would stay in Topeka if I got the detective offer, but otherwise I was going to take the job in Lawrence.  The tarantula got loose, then somebody accidentally stepped on it (killing it of course) . . . those things aint cheap.

I had been stuck on a Freecell game for weeks.  I probably failed 50 times.  I handed my phone to Lara and she beat it on the first try in about 5 minutes, saying “I thought you said it was hard”.  L

Speaking of hashtag Lara.  Did I tell you about the time we watched the Dark Knight 2, and 5 minutes into the movie she makes the following predictions:  Mol from Inception is the real bad guy, not Bane.  Joseph Gorgeous Levitt is Robin.  And Alfred will finally see Bruce at the Café at the end of the movie.  True story . . . except she referred to Robin as Joseph Gordon-Levitt.  pssh

It’s that time of year again for the #HuntForOctober (I know, who cares, right?)  Well I care, because this will be the last best-of-seven series ever.  Next year the Cubbies sweep Miami in 5. #Lub
